ERAU Becomes Florida’s First and Only University to Earn NACEP Accreditation

The National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP) has granted initial accreditation to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s (ERAU) Gaetz Aerospace Institute, which offers STEM-related college programs to high school students throughout the nation, making it the first program of its kind in the state to earn this recognition.

Daytona Beach International Airport (DAB) is a major economic engine for the region. According to the Florida Department of Transportation’s (FDOT) 2022 economic impact study, the county-managed airport generates $3.2 billion in economic impact for the region annually.
