Real Estate Journal to evolve into Economic Development Quarterly

The 'Real Estate Journal of Volusia County' has been well received since it began publishing in 2003. Beginning with its next edition, the publication will have a new name, Economic Development Quarterly, and a broader editorial profile.

"Our editorial committee has been gratified by the positive response to the publication and the story ideas that have been offered," said Rick Michael, Volusia County's Director of Economic Development. "It is clear to us there is a high level of interest in all aspects of economic development, in addition to real estate."

Beginning with the next edition, the publication will be reformatted and called 'Economic Development Quarterly.' It will include stories covering a broader range of news and events affecting economic development in our region. The piece will sport a new look from cover to cover.

While readers will notice many changes in the next edition of the publication, it still will carry timely updates on commercial real estate and construction in Volusia County. Watch for the inaugural edition of Economic Development Quarterly in the first quarter of 2006.
