Incorporated in 1951, the City of South Daytona is a progressive community that is experiencing growth in
small business, professional office, commercial and residential activity. In 1985 the city
began a community-based comprehensive planning process focused upon enhancing the quality
of life for its residents and businesses.
This planning process has resulted in improved
parks, beautification, street improvements, storm water facilities, a new municipal
complex and community center and a U.S. 1 corridor redevelopment program. |
